Call and Beep Your Friends Because Casting for the Live-Action Kim Possible Disney Channel Original Movie Has Begun

Your basic average girl is back to save the world! That’s right, tell all your friends because casting for a live-action Kim Possible Disney Channel Original Movie has officially begun, and the anticipation is real!

Two original animated movies, 87 episodes, and 16 years later, we’re thrilled to see our high school heroes Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable again in this live-action movie. The same creators of the animated series—Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley—are working their magic once again to write the live-action movie script, along with Josh Cagan. It’s executive produced by McCorkle, Schooley, and Zanne Devine, and co-directed and co-produced by Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky. Here’s what Disney Channels Worldwide executive vice president Adam Bonnett has to say about this creative dream team:

“Mark and Bob created an enduring character and kids all over the world found a friend in her, an average girl who just happens to spend her off-school hours thwarting evil villains. Although Kim Possible ‘can do anything,’ kids and tweens found that this animated redhead was just like them. As we embark on the fun challenge of making Kim and Ron fully dimensional, I’m thrilled to be working again with Mark and Bob and to welcome the addition of a dynamic creative team – Josh, Zanne, Adam and Zach – into a world where anything is indeed possible.”

We can’t wait to see how they bring Kim and Ron to life! Who do want to see play Kim?
