6 of Our Fave Things to Do During Star Wars Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line

It’s pretty well-known that Disney Cruises are epic, so it might come as a surprise that they can get even better. But believe us, they can! Case in point, Star Wars Day at Sea.We’ve shown you some of the awesome things you can do on the high seas in the past, but I got a chance to see what’s new this year, and let me tell you, it’s pretty epic! Lightsabers at the ready, Jedi. Let’s begin:

  1. First Things First – All The BB-8

Personally, BB-8 is one of my FAVE parts of the new Star Wars trilogy, and there is no shortage of that little guy rolling around the Disney Fantasy! Want to take a selfie with him? We approve, especially if you have a matching tee!
Selfie with BB-8If you have a competitive side, get ready for droid racing. You can team up with your own lifesize BB-8 droid and zoom around the Disney Fantasy’s deck!

  2. Meet Your New Best Friends

Ever wanted to be best friends with a droid? Same. Meeting all the amazing characters from the Star Wars universe is one of the best parts of Star Wars Day at Sea. You can even chit chat with R2D2 and C-3P0:Definitely channeled my dark side with Darth Vader: Chewie hugs are the best hugs:

  3. The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Probably the most exciting thing I learned is that kids and adults can take part in the Jedi makeovers! YES, PLEASE. Give me my most fabulous Rey look!

  4. Star Wars StarsYou never know who you’re going to run into on the ship during Star Wars Day at Sea! The Guest Speaker Series features classic Star Wars and Lucasfilm talent, and you just might meet anyone—from Warwick Davis to Pablo Hidalgo or Ashley Eckstein.

  5. PORGS!

Don’t be surprised when you run into a few of these guys hiding around the ship! Find all of them, and I have it on good authority that you get a pretty sweet prize.

  6. There’s Something for Everyone

I quizzed Trent, the Disney Fantasy’s Cruise Director, in a lightning round of must-do’s for each guest. Here’s the result:

For the FoodieYou have to try the out-of-this-world Star Wars-inspired treats.
