Directors Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina as well as Producer Darla K. Anderson and Anthony Gonzalez, the voice of Miguel, accepted the award. Unkrich said: “The biggest thank you of all to the people of Mexico. Coco would not exist without your endlessly beautiful culture and traditions.”
