“Remember Me” from Coco Wins Best Original Song at The Academy Awards

Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the songwriters behind Disney•Pixar’s Coco‘s song “Remember Me,” have just won the Academy Award for Original Song! Here they are with their daughters on the red carpet:

Such a good family photo! Anderson-Lopez and Lopez had previously won an Academy Award for Original Song with the instantly iconic “Let It Go” from Frozen. These two are seriously talented.

Earlier in the show, Gael García Bernal, Miguel, and Natalia LaFourcade had performed a beautiful version of the song in front of the live audience, which we will definitely be watching over and over later. Coco also took home the award for Animated Feature . We are so proud!
