Here’s Everything We Experienced During the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

Foodies, listen up! If you love good company and great cuisine, then the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disneyland Resort is where you need to be. You have until April 12, 2018 to get your festival food fix, but we couldn’t wait so we already headed straight there with the Disney Eats team to see what’s good! With plenty of entertainment options and over a dozen Festival Marketplaces to explore, we can confidently say that by the end of the day, no cravings were left unsatisfied or stomachs left empty. Keep scrolling for a look at some of the sweet and savory offerings:

We thought it would be a great idea to kick off the day with a bit of spice. Pictures don’t do this plate of Jalapeño Popper Mac & Cheese with Bacon justice!These three beauties are the Shrimp Boil Tacos with Andouille Sausage and Fresh Corn, Popcorn Lemonade with Whipped Cream and Candy Corn Garnish, and a Meyer Lemon Macaron. This may look like a full-course meal, but we were just getting started with our food crawl!

We can never get enough dessert and tacos, so our next stop was—you guessed it—to pick up some more dessert and tacos.

Is this not the cutest cup of custard you’ve ever seen in your life?It’s called Mexican Chocolate Custard, and it goes great with these zesty Korean BBQ Beef Short Rib Tacos.

While weighing all of our other tasty options, this gorgeous roll caught our eye. We’re in love with the Strawberry & Coconut Rice “Frushi” with Sweet Oikos Greek Nonfat Yogurt Wasabi Sauce.

Of course, we had to follow that with more dessert. If only someone looked at us the way we look at this Avocado Ice Cream Bar.

By then, we were pretty happy and full from all the delectable dishes. We decided to head over to the Hollywood Land backlot for a culinary demonstration with the talented, Chef Daniella Malfitano:Working her magic, Chef Malfitano showed us how to make “Cheesy Bean Carnival Cones,” “Taco Corn Salad,” and “Easy Guacamole”—recipes that we’re confident we can whip up even though we wouldn’t consider ourselves the best of cooks. The aroma was so mouth-watering that we almost got hungry again!

And, might we add, this wasn’t your average cooking session.

We had too much fun dancing and cooking with Goofy, Chip, and Dale!

Before leaving, we had to grab one for the road. This Strawberry Pineapple Float has strawberry popping pearls inside, giving it an extra burst of flavor. Our day at the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival ended on a sweet note!
