Spring at Walt Disney World means we’re in for another egg-stravaganza! This year, the Disney Parks pastry chefs worked their magic once again with all-new Disney-themed egg displays. Even though the eggs are totally edible, they are also beautiful works of art! Take a look at the locations around the Resort:
Designed and hand-decorated by the Grand Floridian Bakery Team, these egg displays are made of modeling chocolate, fondant, sugar floral royal icing, colored cocoa butter, and sculpted sugar art pieces. The Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa‘s 7th Annual Easter Egg Display is showcased through April 9 in the lobby:
Beauty and the Beast
The enchanted rose has never looked more lovely … and delicious.
This is one dynamite egg.
If only we had a Fairy Godmother to magically transform this into a life-sized carousel.
The Fox and the Hound and The Lion King
It’s a party up in this display! We spy our friends from The Fox and the Hound and The Lion King.
BB-8 makes the cutest egg ever!
Head on up to the first floor lobby of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where you’ll find an assortment of eggs inspired by classics like Beauty and the Beast, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, Lilo & Stitch, and the list goes on! Brought to us by the talented Contemporary Bakery Team, this 6th Annual Easter Egg Display can be enjoyed until April 4:
Fish are friends, not food!
Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, and Bambi
“Hand-painted with Cocoa Butter”? This is true art.
Aladdin and Tinker Bell
The paintings on these eggs are phenomenal!
This autographed egg belongs in a museum.
Find another round of delightful chocolate Easter eggs at the Disney’s Beach Club Resort lobby through April 3! We’re definitely making a pit stop because for the first time ever, we have until April 1 to purchase custom Mickey and Minnie chocolate eggs to take home with us. What an egg-cellent souvenir! (We couldn’t help ourselves with that one.)
Mickey and Friends
Mickey and friends are even cuter as eggs!
Wreck-It Ralph, Peter Pan, and Bambi
If you look closely, you can see the second star to the right in this Peter Pan egg. Also, that foliage detailing above Bambi and Thumper is quite impressive.
This egg is a winner, hands down.
Big Hero 6
Baymax makes an adorable bunny!
Lilo & Stitch
No egg gets left behind or forgotten at the Disney Parks.
In addition, Boma – Flavors of Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will have even more chocolate Easter eggs on display from March 30-April 1. There, you can find eggs inspired by UP, Moana, Peter Pan, and more!
All of these Easter egg displays are truly works of art. Which one is your favorite?
