T-minus two days until Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War is out! We’re mentally preparing for the moment we sit down in theaters and immerse ourselves in the epicness of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Watching the film after months of anticipation is one thing, but actually being involved in the making of the movie is another. To get an idea of just how incredible that might be, we asked Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa, aka Black Panther), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner, aka Hulk), and directors Joe and Anthony Russo to try to put that feeling into words. Here’s what they said:
“There are times when I don’t really understand why I’m in this position where I get to do this,” Boseman said.
“Cause you’re good,” Ruffalo responded. Gurira, of course, agreed.
Chadwick Boseman is so humble, and we love that his costars are quick to hype him up. The cast of Avengers: Infinity War truly is a dream team, as Joe Russo implies:
“Evans has aged seven years since we started working with him. Scarlett went from her 20s to her 30s with us,” Russo said. “It really is like a family.”
Goals. We can’t wait to be part of the action when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters this Friday, April 27!
