Sunday is Disney Night on ABC’s American Idol!  Get ready to be treated to a bevy of classic and modern Disney songs sung by the show’s top ten contestants. Not only that, but Disney’s new a cappella group D Cappella will add even more Disney magic to the show with their own performances of Disney songs from animated classics like Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, interspersed throughout the show!

We are so excited to share the official set list for this magical evening with you! Here is what these talented artists will be singing (and what we have to look forward to!):

“Beauty and the Beast” from Beauty and the Beast

In other incredible news, for the first time in the history of American television, a reality-competition series will allow viewers to watch and vote from both coasts at the same time. This means American Idol will be simulcast across the country for a three week span starting this Sunday, April 29, from 8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT and 5:00-7:01 p.m. PDT on ABC. During this time, you’ll be able to vote by text, via AmericanIdol.com/vote and on the American Idol app. Voting results will be revealed in real time at the end of each episode! These episodes will then be rebroadcast in their normal time slot at 7:00 p.m. CT and 8:00 p.m. PT.

Be sure to tune in to Disney night on American Idol on Sunday, April 29 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and 5:00 p.m. Pacific on ABC to hear all of these amazing Disney tunes, and vote for your favorites! And if you love D Cappella, their first live show will take place at Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert at the Hollywood Bowl on May 25 and May 26! We’ll be there.
