Experience the New Mandarin Production of Beauty and the Beast and All the Summer Fun at Shanghai Disney Resort

According to Disney Parks Blog, the new Mandarin production of the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast is now open at the Walt Disney Grand Theatre in Disneytown at Shanghai Disney Resort. Tickets are on sale, and we’re all invited! 

Just in time for the second anniversary of Shanghai Disney Resort this summer, the Mandarin Beauty and the Beast musical is sure to impress. Here’s a sneak peek of the stunning scenes and gorgeous costumes on stage, made possible by a dream team of over 80 international performers and crew members:

You might recognize a few familiar faces from the Resort’s last hit Broadway musical The Lion King! The cast features YaoRong Guo as Belle, DouEr Sun as Beast, Yang Liu as Gaston, Meng Xu as Mrs. Potts, HaiFei Mao as Lumiere, Pai Peng as Cogsworth, Zhi Zhang as LeFou, XueLiang Ma as Maurice, ShaoYu Li as Madame de la Grande Bouche (Mrs. Wardrobe), and YaYu Chen as Babette.

As the cherry on top, the show is accompanied by award-winning music composed by the legendary Alan Menken, who met the cast in Shanghai earlier this year! Check out Menken with the Beauty and the Beast team:
