Call it Christmas in July, because we just received some big news about Freeform’s Life-Size 2 straight from the doll’s mouth! Well, technically Tyra Banks’ mouth, as she reprises her role as Eve, who first came to life nearly 20 years ago.
Banks recently took to Instagram to introduce Francia Raisa as her new co-star for the highly-anticipated sequel, which will air as part of Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas. Raisa, who you might recognize from Freeform’s grown-ish, is set to play Grace Manning, the bold and hilarious CEO of the toy company famous for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll. In addition to Raisa, Life-Size 2 will add Gavin Stenhouse as Grace’s potential love interest Calum, Shanica Knowles and Hank Chen will join the cast as Grace’s best friends Tahlia and Brendan, and Alison Fernandez will portray Lex, Grace’s young next-door neighbor.
But wait, we have more info! The plot of Life-Size 2 will revolve around Grace, who realizes that she’s in over her head as CEO of Marathon Toys, which was started by her mother. And with her company’s stock plummeting, Grace will be in need of some serious help, which is where we’d bet Eve will come into play—but we’ll all have to wait until this holiday season to find out.
