The day has finally come! Shanghai Disneyland has officially opened its gates, and some of our teammates were there to capture the magic. Though the park itself may be the main attraction, the hotels were too beautiful (and fun) not to share. So, if you’ve been wondering what both the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and the Toy Story Hotel look like, join us on a virtual mini-tour and check out the images below!
First up, we’ve got some fabulous images from the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. One of the first things you’ll see if you visit the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is Cinderella’s magnificent carriage:
There’s also a bronze statue of Mickey and Minnie in their best Dapper Day attire to welcome you to the resort:
Need to rest your feet after a long day of walking? Look no further! The beds at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel are fit for royalty:
There’s also a Little Mermaid-themed indoor pool at the hotel! The murals on the wall are a nice touch. The ceiling is painted blue to make it look like you’re truly under the sea:
Here’s a closeup of the one featuring Ariel’s father, King Triton:
The attention to detail is absolutely mesmerizing.
The Beauty and the Beast decorations at the restaurant definitely make us want to be their guest:
Once you’ve grabbed your food, you’ll be able to eat while enjoying this beautiful mural of Belle and Beast sharing a meal:
If you’re a Toy Story enthusiast, you might want to check out the Toy Story Hotel at the resort. The cool thing is, it’s the first one themed around the franchise. This statue of Woody and Bullseye appeals to the kid (and Disney-lover) in us all:
It wouldn’t be the Toy Story Hotel without Woody and Jessie there to welcome you! There’s even a fun Toy Story design behind the duo:
We’re pretty much obsessed with the cute carpeting in the hotel. Look how adorable Bullseye is!
The wallpaper in this room reminds us of Andy’s room! We also love the fun print on the carpet:
The fun continues in the dining area!
Here’s a closeup of the hanging decorations. Start your day off right by looking up at Buzz, Slinky, and Jessie:
There is a ton of Toy Story art to enjoy throughout the hotel. Also, on the sign below we see some of the locations in the hotel: Sunnyside Cafe, Sunnyside Market, and a Play Room.
Last, and most certainly not least, is this cool Pizza Planet rocket ship outside!
The green aliens are ready for blast off!
From what we’ve seen so far, the hotels at the Shanghai Disney Resort look like a ton of fun. It’s safe to say we’re officially amazed at of all of the cool stuff our teammates at Shanghai Disneyland are getting to check out.
