The flexible, crinkly white edges. The hollow black casing that was somehow simultaneously heavy and light. The wide title panel that, while practical for identification purposes, also allowed you to easily (and subtly) brag about your collection. There’s something about VHS tapes that brings us very fond memories, and rightly so. They were our first foray into Disney magic. Seeing those beautiful covers meant that we were about to enjoy a wonderful hour and a half of entertainment (after we properly rewound the VHS of course).
